The Type 1 to 3 pin chargers and 2 pin chargers listed below are compatible with all Type 1 socket EV’s. A Type 1 socket charger can be used to charge an EV using any 16A (2 pin Euro) or 13A mains socket.
Therefore, in the UK, you can charge anywhere there is a 13A 3 pin socket. If you are charging in mainland Europe, you can charge an EV using a 16A 2 pin Schuko socket, which is the most commonly used socket in Europe.
