Charge any Type 2 socket electric vehicle using a 230V (1 Phase blue) 16A or 32A socket. This charger has 2 interchangeable plugs, the so-called 1 Phase 16A and 32A camping plugs. You can therefore charge your vehicle at a campsite or any commercial premises that have a 16A or 32A 1 Phase CEE socket installed. The 230V 16A socket will provide up to 3.7kW and the 230V 32A socket will provide up to 7.4kW. This is obviosuly dependent upon the AC Onboard charging capacity of the vehicle. A free cable bag is supplied.

Ensure compatibility between the charging cable and your vehicle. The images on this page provide a visual guide to the sockets that the charger will plug into, allowing you to match the cable plug to your vehicle socket and power socket. This charger is for a Type 2 socket EV. You can also use our EV Cable Finder to locate your vehicle and explore the charging cables available for your vehicle.
Is the cable long enough? Measure the distance from the power outlet to the Type 2 vehicle socket, typically where your vehicle is parked, and add half a meter to prevent overstretching the cable.

Cable Care & Warranty

To ensure the proper care of your charger, be sure to follow the safety instructions outlined in the user booklet provided with your charging cable. These chargers have a 12 months manufacturer warranty. However, following the instructions and safety information for using the Type 2 to 3-pin charger will help to ensure trouble-free use and you can register for a 24 months extended warranty. Please read the booklet before using the Type 2 charger. In case you do not receive the user booklet, please notify us. Charge Your Type 2 Socket EV Using A 230V 16A or 32A CEE Socket

This portable charger is supplied with 2 adapters that allow connection to a 16A or 32A 3 pin CEE socket found in campsites and industrial premises. The portable charger supplies a charge at either 10 amps, 16 amps, 20 amps, 24 amps or 32 amps.

Because the charger can connect to a 230V 16A and 32A socket, it is popular with EV owners that want to charge their EV when they go camping.

The 1 Phase CEE socket is also found in commercial units, but it should not be confused with the red 5 pole CEE socket that can provide up to 11kW or 22kW power.

The 16A 1 Phase CEE socket will provide up to 3.7kW and the 32A 1 Phase CEE socket will provide up to 7.4kW.

This multi adapter charger also has a timer, enabling charging to start from 1 to 10 hours after plugging in.

For EV charging, it’s important to ensure the power socket is suitable. Therefore, we recommend a qualified electrician to certify that both the socket and supply have been certified suitable for EV charging.

This CEE charger is compatible with all Type 2 socket EV’s .

EV Cable Bag And Case

We provide a canvas cable bag (suitable for cables up to 10M) to store this charger when not in use. The bag can also be upgraded to a cable carrier case made from EVA material, which has improved waterproof and impact protection. The EVA case has an elasticated strap in the bottom compartment and elasticated mesh pocket in the top to allow convenient storage of two cables. The EVA case can hold two cables, provided each cable is no longer than 10 meters (with a total combined length of 20 meters) and is neatly wound.
